Theta Tau is a student organization at the University of Pennsylvania. As Penn's premier professional engineering fraternity, our purpose is to develop and maintain a high standard of professional interest among its members, and to unite them in a strong bond of fraternal fellowship.

Our 2026 Regent
In Theta Tau, I found a tight-knit community of engineers, collaborators, and teammates. This fraternity has defined my college experience, introducing me to new communities and experiences. What makes Theta Tau so special to me is how much this group truly feels like a family. Since joining, I’m with a fellow brother more often than not and have always had someone to turn to whether I’m sharing an achievement or a letdown. I simply can’t imagine going through college without this second family.
With more than 80 brothers, Theta Tau is a blend of diverse backgrounds and experiences. Though we are an engineering fraternity, we bring together countless different interests, cultures, sports, and arts groups. At any time, you can find a brother to join you in watching a movie, playing a game, hitting the gym, or grabbing food. From giving a helping hand to a brother in need to showing up in droves to a brother’s performance, this fraternity has consistently showed up and showed out.
Our fraternity deeply values professionalism, brotherhood, and service. The resources and support in Theta Tau propel our members to exceptional achievements and meaningfully contribute to their communities.

Professionalism
We are a diverse group of engineers with a variety of unique professional interests. We develop and nurture engineers with strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills that will be applicable to any profession or career. From resume reviews to mock interviews, our brothers support one another in achieving our professional goals.
BROTHERHOOD
Within Theta Tau, we strive to foster a fun and social environment in order to develop personal and professional connections that will last way beyond our Penn experience. To us, brotherhood means having a vibrant, active, and close-knit community. We plan and organize many events where brothers can make lifelong friendships and everlasting memories.
SERVICE
The brothers of Theta Tau strive to give back to our college and the greater Philadelphia community, by getting involved with community service. From hosting fundraisers to collaborating with other organizations, our service projects create a unifying environment for personal growth and meaningful impact for our members.
