OUR PURPOSE
Theta Tau is a student organization at the University of Pennsylvania. As Penn's premier professional engineering fraternity, our purpose is to develop and maintain a high standard of professional interest among its members, and to unite them in a strong bond of fraternal fellowship.

When I walked into open rush my freshman spring, all I knew about Theta Tau was that it was just a bunch of engineers. Little did I know how lucky I was to find myself joining such a special community. Without exaggerating, joining Theta Tau has been the single-most influential and positive decision I've made in college. I wouldn't have the lifelong friends and memories that I do now without Theta Tau and I can't imagine what my life would have been like if it weren't for this community.
As an engineering fraternity, all of our members share a similar passion for problem solving and innovation. You will find brothers in every Major in SEAS and across many organizations within the greater engineering community. Even outside of our fields of study, the brothers have a wide range of interests and hobbies. With over 70 members, chances are whatever it is you want to do, you are rarely working alone.
Within Theta Tau, we aim for high levels of professionalism and strong connections within the brotherhood. Whether it be professionally or personally, brothers and alumni are always there to lift each other up. Theta Tau is a tight-knit community that lives on and supports you through Penn and beyond.
On behalf of the Tau Gamma chapter of Theta Tau, I welcome you to learn more about our community. Feel free to explore our website, follow us on social media, or attend our events to learn more about the organization and how you can become a part of our community.
Best,

We develop and nurture engineers with strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills that will be applicable to any profession or career. From resume reviews to mock interviews, our brothers support one another in achieving our professional goals.
BROTHERHOOD
Within Theta Tau, we strive to foster a fun and social environment in order to develop personal and professional connections that will last way beyond our Penn experience. To us, brotherhood means having a vibrant, active, and close-knit community. We plan and organize many events where brothers can make lifelong friendships and everlasting memories.
SERVICE
