OUR PURPOSE
Theta Tau is a student organization at the University of Pennsylvania. As Penn's premier professional engineering fraternity, our purpose is to develop and maintain a high standard of professional interest among its members, and to unite them in a strong bond of fraternal fellowship.

A Letter From
Our 2025 Regent
Theta Tau is undoubtedly my biggest and closest community at Penn. This fraternity of passionate engineers has given me some of my closest friends, countless memories, and an incredible support system. Joining Theta Tau was the first time I truly felt at home on campus, and it has continued to be my most significant source of comfort, inspiration, and growth throughout my college experience.
With over 70 active members, Theta Tau brings together students from every SEAS major and countless organizations across Penn. With brothers with endless interests, hobbies, and backgrounds, there’s always someone to share advice, join for a new hobby, or simply hang out with after a long day. Whether in class, social events, or a late-night conversation, you’ll find brothers who are genuinely invested in each other’s success.
At its core, Theta Tau is about more than engineering. It’s a community that prioritizes professionalism, connection, and lifelong support. Brothers and alumni are always there to help, whether you need career advice or someone to cheer you on. The connections you build here extend far beyond Penn, with every interaction an opportunity to learn something or build a lasting bond.

Professionalism
We are a diverse group of engineers with a variety of unique professional interests. We develop and nurture engineers with strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills that will be applicable to any profession or career. From resume reviews to mock interviews, our brothers support one another in achieving our professional goals.
BROTHERHOOD
Within Theta Tau, we strive to foster a fun and social environment in order to develop personal and professional connections that will last way beyond our Penn experience. To us, brotherhood means having a vibrant, active, and close-knit community. We plan and organize many events where brothers can make lifelong friendships and everlasting memories.
SERVICE
The brothers of Theta Tau strive to give back to our college and the greater Philadelphia community, by getting involved with community service. From hosting fundraisers to collaborating with other organizations, our service projects create a unifying environment for personal growth and meaningful impact for our members.
